This item has the upper part of the hole bored out to 6.0 mm diameter and only the lower part of the hole is 4.0 mm diameter. This permits the rudder stock to be held correctly by this bearing even when the alignment is not exactly at 90 degrees.

Also the 4.0 mm diameter can be drilled out to suit 3/16” or 5.0 mm rudder stocks with ease.
